Our Spectrum of Sustainability

Our Fibres

Made With One Purpose.

Different applications demand different fibre characteristics. Our portfolio of recycled polyester fibres is developed to meet varied requirements across industries.

At the heart of our operations is the transformation of discarded PET bottles into premium, user-friendly products including non-woven materials, yarn for spinning, and fillings. These versatile products are integral to a range of applications from geotextiles and automotive components to carpets, duvets, comforters, and even toys.

Our production currently boasts an annual output of 24,000 tonnes of recycled polyester fibers and we are on a trajectory to escalate this capacity to 42,000 metric tonnes annually by 2025.

Our product lineup includes a wide range of post-consumer Recycled PET fibers, varying from 0.9 to 20 denier in both solid and hollow forms, including hollow conjugate fibers in white or black, customizable in cut-length upon request. Committed to sustainability, our product range also features a variety of colors to minimize the need for further dyeing processes.

Biodegradable Products

UNI - BIOFIBRE Using Ciclo® Biodegradable Technology

CiCLO ® Biodegradable Technology helps reduce the Impacts of plastic microfiber pollution When added to synthetic fibers, this technology allows fabrics to biodegrade like natural fibers.

Made with CiCLO® Biodegradable Technology

On average, a household generates around 44 pounds of dust annually. Of these, 13 pounds consist of microfibres from synthetic clothing, carpets and furniture. These petroleum-based fibres, including polyester and nylon, are composed of plastics, which are not inherently biodegradable. The environmental impact of this microfibre pollution is significant.

Our solution to mitigate this pervasive problem is UNI – BIOFIBRE

UNI – BIOFIBRE is infused with CiCLO® technology – a nature-inspired additive. We add it to synthetic fibres during production, enabling them to biodegrade much like natural fibres. This means when the fabric reaches the end of its lifecycle, the biological degradation can occur naturally at a rate comparable to that of natural fibres. The additive is also non-toxic to marine and plant life.

Independently Tested, Proven Safe, and Effective

Countless biodegradable spots throughout the matrix of the plastic. These spots act like nutrient sources for microbes that naturally exist in the environment.

That means, when textiles made with CiCLO®-enhanced fibers end up in environments where biodegradation can occur naturally, microbes are attracted to the fibers and can mineralize them at rates comparable to natural fibers, such as wool.

Independently Tested, Proven Safe, and Effective

CiCLO® technology meets the OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT standard – an independent certification offering transparent proof that CiCLO® ingredients meet the criteria for ecologically responsible textile manufacturing.

Biodegradation of CiCLO®-embedded fibre is verified using internationally recognised respirometry test methods established by The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). The test method measures aerobic biodegradation of plastics in different environments.
